Disclosures & Important Information
Risk and forward-looking statements. All investing involves risk, including the loss of principal. Investments in private and early-stage companies, including “pre-IPO” companies, and in small or thinly traded public companies are highly speculative, and you could lose your entire investment. Private securities are generally illiquid and may be impossible to sell for a long time or at all, so only invest money you can afford to lose. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Statements on this site about any company’s plans, products, market size, growth, potential IPO, listing, acquisition, return, stock price, or future value are forward-looking, are not guarantees, and may never happen; actual results may differ materially. “Pre-IPO” means only that a company is not publicly traded, not that it plans to or will go public; most private companies never do.
Not a broker-dealer or adviser; not advice or an offer. Economic Media LLC and Invested Alpha are not registered with the SEC, FINRA, or any state securities regulator as broker-dealers, funding portals, or investment advisers. We do not offer or sell securities, accept or handle investor funds, execute or participate in transactions, or make individualized recommendations. Nothing on this site, in our emails, or in any video we publish is investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice, a recommendation, or an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security. Offers of securities are made only through each company’s official offering documents or public filings, which contain important information about risks, fees, and terms. Some offerings are open only to accredited investors, and some limit how much non-accredited investors may invest. Read the offering documents or filings carefully before investing, and consider consulting a licensed financial professional. The SEC and state regulators do not pass upon the merits of any offering or the accuracy of any offering document or promotional material.
News content. Our news articles are general information and education only, not recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any security, and are not paid for, requested, or approved by the companies they mention. They may be produced with the help of automated tools, and market data may be delayed or contain errors. We don’t guarantee that any content is accurate, complete, or current, and we may not update it after publication.
Paid advertising. Invested Alpha is a brand of Economic Media LLC, which does business as Invested Alpha. Invested Alpha is supported by paid advertising, and every paid promotion is labeled as advertising. We are paid only in cash, never in stock or other securities, by three kinds of advertisers. Companies raising capital under Regulation Crowdfunding, Regulation A, or Rule 506(c) of Regulation D pay us $150 to $400 per qualified lead; that pay does not depend on whether anyone invests. Financial publishers pay us to promote their newsletters, research, and other products, on a per-lead, per-sale, or flat-fee basis; when we are paid per sale, we earn more if you buy, and each publisher’s recommendations, performance claims, and track records are its own, not verified or endorsed by us. Investor relations firms and companies pay us flat fees to promote publicly traded companies; each of those promotions discloses the company, who paid us, the amount, and the campaign dates. Each paid promotion’s own disclosure supplements this one. Economic Media LLC and its principals and employees do not own, buy, or sell securities of any company we are paid to promote. Because we are paid by advertisers, we have a conflict of interest, and our paid content is not independent or unbiased.
Video content, comparisons, and offer terms. This site, our emails, and any video we publish may include dramatizations, stock or AI-generated footage, images, or voices, and narration by paid talent; visuals may not depict a company’s actual products, facilities, or people. References to public figures, other companies, news events, government policy, market trends, or other companies’ IPOs, acquisitions, or valuations are for context only. They do not mean those people or companies endorse or are affiliated with any company we feature, and they are not predictions of its results. Market data and statistics may come from third-party sources we believe to be reliable but have not verified. Bonus shares, perks, pricing, deadlines, and other offering terms are set by each company, may change or end at any time, and are governed solely by its offering documents.
